Overall: Panda Inn is one of those real Chinese restaurants you hear your parents speaking about from years past. It’s gotta be tough working in California with all these rules wearing a mask, and in a black outfit, outside in the heat so I was very impressed with her efforts. My waitress was on her game today: Glasses were kept full, and food brought out in a jiffy. The combination of the pepper pods and fresh chicken, wok fried with their signature sauce and roasted peanuts, was done to perfection.Excellent! The Kung Pao was absolutely one of the best versions I’ve ever tried. The egg roll was pretty standard, but had the texture of a spring roll and was actually pretty good. I prefer wonton or egg drop, but it wasn’t available today. I’m normally not a big fan of hot n sour soup, and here it ain’t much different. I ordered the Kon Pao(their version of Kung Pao), complete with steamed rice, egg roll, and hot n sour soup. limited these days for lunch, but has enough variety to get you through. Due to California’s rules on covid, you’re stuck dining in the parking lot(outdoor seating), or carry out. I’ve eaten here several times over the years, when traveling to SoCal, and have always had a good experience. I will make a point to return each time I come to/through Ontario□ More My leftovers were ever better later that evening. Thank you Panda Inn for an outstanding experience. OMG.I immediately ordered some to go & shared with my next stop as well as just finished the last de-to-the-licious one. When asked about that as I've never seen this ever in my life, they shared that the cookies were dipped in white chocolate. I was over the top when I asked about fortune cookies & they came wrapped. They also make a really good lemon drop (without sugar for me). I don't eat rice, egg rolls, etc so they loaded me up with veggies on top of the fish & it was absolutely delicious AND plentiful❣️ I actually had to take the rest with me. We sat at a booth & I was excited about the red snapper. minutes from the airport, it was clean & professional.
